Eye-witness report of the eruption of the Vesuvius of Wörlitz
387 before Christ it has been the geese, which woke up all the inhabitants of the Roman capitol and in that way introduced the successful defence against the assaulting Gaul. At the 1st of September 2005 it has been a black swan, who suddenly appeared lava-red billing about 7:30 h p.m. and in that way also successful introduced the evacuation of the Wörlitz volcano island.

To avoid a panic amongst the persons, also the minority of them knew what a black swan means because the last eruption has been 200 years ago, the time to bring the life-boats was cut short psychological professional by the London Trinity College of Music. Even that the mountain was groaning delicate all of the nothing-suspecting ones were sitting modest at their place in the amphitheatre next to the volcano until the end of the performance of "Lady Hamilton´s Attitudes".

Sir William and Lady Hamilton were straining on stage until - their villa lies also directly next to the Wörlitz volcano - they got the hint of the local volcano-authorities that now all life-boats with crew and supplies are ready for operation, they stopped their conversation about life, love and volcanoes. At once they announced the imminent eruption and asked for considerate behaviour during the evacuation, because only than all of them can escape a disaster.

When all of the rescued ones in the boats were moving in save distance to the volcano, it erupted out of itself. In responsibility of professor Wolfgang Spyra and his team, the first period of eruption was Thanks-to-Hephaistos no pyrotechnical uproar, but artistically altogether a convincing work about the theme volcanism and art. More also about the volcano-wonder "Nessy of Wörlitz" coming soon.
